BESTROM is happy to announce that Eve Rosenhaft has been appointed to the Academic Advisory Board of the Institut für Zeitgeschichte (Institute of Contemporary History).
With centres in Munich and Berlin, the IFZ is the oldest established centre for research on contemporary German history. It was created by the West German government in 1949 as the Institute for Research on the History of National Socialism, and now supports research on the whole of German history in the 20th and 21st centuries in its global context. It publishes the journal Vierteljahrshefte für Zeitgeschichte as well as authoritative documentary editions. The IFZ is a member of the national Leibniz Group of German centres of research excellence.
