I am a researcher at the University of Liverpool, where prior to joining the BESTROM project I worked in the Institute of Cultural Capital leading the Cultural Governance theme of the Impacts 18 research programme, which assessed cultural strategies in the Liverpool City Region. Before this I worked at the University of Birmingham in research and teaching roles across the Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage and the Birmingham Business School, working on collaborative AHRC and EU projects exploring digital cultural heritage, regional development, and  digital storytelling and co-creation methods. My PhD is in Cultural Geography and investigated spaces of memory and identity in post Second World War Displaced Persons camps, and my related publications focus on how memories of displacement are shared and negotiated through photographs, stories, and cultural practices.
